Exploration of Ancient Greek Civilisation
The Year 3 and 4 children had a fabulous afternoon watching a play by Squashbox Theatre linked to their history enquiry on the exploration of Ancient Greek Civilisation. The main premise of the play was myths and monsters where pupils have been introduced to numerous monsters of greek mythology through their reading sessions. The play also links to their learning on greek theatre and the lasting legacy of the Ancient Greeks. What a fabulous afternoon!
A Day in the Life of a King or Queen
Key stage 1 thoroughly enjoyed a day in the life of a King or Queen today. They wrote their own rules as monarchs, designed their own coat of arms, made crowns and experienced high tea in the Royal Hall with music and games. Thank you for the fantastic effort with outfits

A Visit from a Pilot at RNAS Culdrose
Years 1 and 2 were very lucky to have a visit today from Nik, a pilot from RNAS Culdrose. They have been learning about significant people from the past, specifically the Wright Brothers and they were very knowledgeable when Nik questioned them about what they already knew. A big thanks to Nik for coming in.
